Why You?

We are all aware that a mighty work of God usually involves a collaboration of the people of God. We can recall the miraculous trek from Egypt to the Promised Land; the amazing stance of Esther and Mordecai against Haman; Nehemiah’s vision to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem; and countless other stories of God’s people coming together to carry out the Lord’s plans.

So too with the founding of The Garden Church, Chicago – we can’t do it alone. We are pleased and blessed that multiple organizations and individuals have caught the vision for The Garden Church and have made commitments to be a part of this move of God:

  1. Prayer – commit to lifting this endeavor and team up to the Father on a regular basis
  2. Team Member – commit to joining the Formation Team or Oversight Team as we engage the Bronzeville community with the hope and love of Jesus Christ
  3. Mini Mission – commit to being a part of the local congregation for 6, 12, 18, or 24 months as the church gets established
